How It Works

OEM-style message flow over CAN

RM-Primis ⇄ ZF 8HP TCU: the ECU exchanges the same style of messages an OEM ECU/DME would — gear selection, torque request/limit, and coordination flags. During a shift, the TCU requests torque reductions and RM-Primis trims engine torque accordingly. Result: adaptive, OEM-like shifts and clutch protection without a separate controller.
