The base model is the best choice when you want a straightforward VAG 1.8T standalone ECU that plugs into the original harness
with a clean install and excellent value. Ideal for classic 1.8T builds where you want the essentials done right—fast.
- Plug & Play installation (no extra wiring to get running)
- Designed for VAG 1.8T cable-throttle platforms using Bosch Motronic M3.8.2 / M3.8.4 / M3.8.5
- Internal 400 kPa MAP sensor (NA or boosted setups)
- Boost control, launch control, flat shift (using original clutch sensor)
- Thermo fan control, staged injection, sequential fuel trim, nitrous control
- 0–5V input for external wideband controllers
Important compatibility note: This base model is intended for classic non-CAN vehicles and cable-throttle Motronic setups.
It is not intended for later electronic-throttle ECU families (ME7.x). If you want a more future-proof “advanced platform” solution,
the RM-Primis option below is the better long-term foundation.
